The Congregationalist is interested in receiving news and feature articles of interest to our readers. These generally fall into two categories:

• News Briefs—Reports of happenings in local churches, state and regional associations, and throughout Congregationalism, including news of upcoming events. The item should be of more than purely local interest and should be accompanied by a good photograph in digital form, if possible. Submit directly to the editor.

• Feature Articles—Major pieces that stand on their own in the magazine, whether in the form of news, commentary, history, spiritual/theological reflection, or a combination of these elements. Since writing a feature article takes considerable time and effort, it is wise to contact the editor to find out of the piece is wanted before investing that time and effort.
